Senior Support Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Support Specialist.
The role involves planning and performing routine preventative maintenance activities, along with reactive tasks associated with the electronic security system at Correctional Facilities and Projects located in Queensland.
You will be responsible for supporting the implementation and execution of the Annual Works Plan, as well as delivering Variations and Minor Works projects.
Your duties will also include participating in assigned project tasks, including equipment installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and witness testing.
In addition, you will complete and develop maintenance procedures required for the reactive and preventative maintenance tasks.
- At least 5 years' experience in the security industry with IP based systems is essential.
- Experience with security systems IT hardware, setup/configuration and installation of Gallagher access control and intruder alarm systems, servicing and maintenance of general security system equipment is required.
- Defence security clearance is mandatory for this role, applicants will need to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline level or have the ability to gain one.
