Event Coordinator Role

Maestria is seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate and execute a wide range of events.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences.
  • Develop event proposals, including timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering, entertainment and decorations.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, staff and clients to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Oversee event setup, ensuring that all elements are in place according to the plan.
  • Act as the main point of contact during events, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in the hospitality and events industry.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • A genuinely warm and welcoming demeanour.
