Role Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Cleaning and Trolley Collection Associate to join our team at Woolworths Temora. As a key member of our Proactive Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stores maintain pristine cleanliness standards.

About the Role:

This part-time or casual opportunity involves completing specific cleaning tasks on a schedule, collecting trolleys, and supporting the store with waste processing routines. You will work closely with your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and contribute to a safe and hygienic working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete allocated tasks from the daily planner, including sweeping shop floors, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team rooms, as well as emptying bins.
  • Collect trolleys on foot from car parks and surrounding areas.
  • Work across departments to meet specific cleaning needs.
  • Assist customers by answering questions or providing directions.

Requirements:

  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, requiring comfortable handling of physically demanding tasks to ensure success and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs.
  • Flexibility to work in various environments, such as shop floors, fridges, freezers, and carparks.
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday, with shifts starting from 6am or 5pm.
  • A keen eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
