Geotechnical Engineering Career Advancement

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team of geotechnical specialists.

This role will provide a balance of technical work, project management, leadership and client-facing problem solving.

  • Collaborate with diverse teams on national and international projects.
  • Deliver projects ensuring high-quality technical outputs through risk identification and management.
  • Conduct geotechnical analyses for deep excavations, slope stability, foundations, retaining walls and pavement designs.
  • Analyze data to develop practical and commercial solutions.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients through project pursuit, tendering and delivery phases.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

Degree-level qualifications in geotechnical/geological/civil engineering. Postgraduate qualifications in geotechnical engineering and/or engineering geology are beneficial.

Minimum 8 years relevant experience in geotechnical consulting, including fieldwork data gathering and site investigation reporting.

Strong technical leadership, mentoring and advice-giving skills.

Ability to prioritize, coordinate and lead teams in field investigations and analytical design work.

Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as AS1726-2017, Plaxis and Abaqus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Project management skills for large or complex projects.

Current manual driver's license (or equivalent).
