Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to support our mining exploration and geoscience operations.

  • This role will involve conducting geological and geotechnical assessments, providing technical expertise and solutions to ensure the safety and stability of mining projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting geological and geotechnical assessments and ground support analysis and design.
  • Reviewing ground support and making recommendations on design parameters.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement mining plans.
  • Preparing technical reports and presentations.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil, Mining or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, preferably within the mining industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in soil and rock mechanics, slope stability analysis, and ground support design.
  • Proficiency in using geotechnical software and modelling tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
