Job Title: Site Maintenance and Operations Specialist

This is a critical role that involves ensuring the site is secure, well-maintained, and presented to a high standard. The successful candidate will be responsible for unlocking the site compound and allowing access to secure plots for sub-contractors.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure plots are secured at the end of each working day.
  2. Maintain high levels of site presentation, including cleaning site office and facilities regularly.
  3. Clean completed plots and keep the site litter-free.
  4. Stockpile materials prior to bulk disposal when required.
  5. Distribute materials to sub-contractors using designated routes.
  6. Manage and maintain skips, generators, and the general compound area.
  7. Open the site at 7:30 AM, unlock plots, and check perimeters, with a closing time of 4:30 PM for a 5 PM finish.
  8. Prepare units for pre-plaster activities, including mastic, foaming, insulation, spraying, taping, and cleaning.
  9. Manage waste segregation and safety measures, including fencing and signage.
  10. Jet wash slabs and driveways for upcoming completion plots.
  11. Adjust site boundary fencing as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Must hold an up-to-date CSCS card.
  • Familiar with the company's health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably on a building site.
  • Outgoing, courteous, and polite personality.
  • Enjoy working outdoors with a logical and methodical approach.
  • Effective communication skills and physical fitness.
