Job Opportunity: Financial Controller & Procurement Coordinator
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller and Procurement Coordinator to join our team at the Mount Piper Power Station Water Treatment Facility on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This key role combines financial control, procurement coordination, maintenance management, and administrative support to ensure smooth site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site financial controls including budget forecasting and month-end reporting
- Coordinate procurement processes including quotations, service agreements, and stock management
- Process invoices and manage purchase orders through SAP and VAMS
- Oversee the site's Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Manage timesheet tracking and payroll administration
- Drive continuous improvement of administrative processes
- Maintain site documentation and quality assurance requirements
- Coordinate site training, inductions, and special events
- Manage contractor/visitor coordination and site access
- Support the preparation of monthly reports and presentations
- Assist with minor capital work projects
Requirements:
- Experience in office administration or purchasing
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS)
