Job Title: Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

We're seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Supply Chain Optimization Specialist. This critical role ensures product availability and inventory health across various categories.

As a Supply Chain Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, translating them into effective supply plans, and collaborating with purchasing coordinators, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely order placement, shipment tracking, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain accurate demand forecasts using sales data, promotional plans, and seasonal strategies.
  • Translate forecasts into supply plans that balance inventory targets, service levels, and timelines.
  • Work closely with purchasing coordinators and suppliers to manage MOQs, resolve supply issues, and optimize stock flow.
  • Monitor inbound freight, supplier lead times, and stock levels to ensure product availability.
  • Lead merchandise planning activities, including seasonal buys, range reviews, and lifecycle tracking.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels, and stock turns.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Merchandising, Logistics, Finance, IT, and Sales to drive alignment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of demand, supply, and merchandise planning processes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in supply chain, demand planning, or merchandise planning roles.
  • Strong forecasting, inventory planning, and supplier coordination expertise.
  • Experience with ERP systems, forecasting tools, and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Organized, analytical, and solutions-focused, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (additional certifications desirable).
