Job Title: Metal Fabricator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled metal fabricator to assemble components as per engineering blueprints.

  • Review drawings and job specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Assemble components, weld, and fabricate products to a high standard from shop drawings.
  • Utilize aluminum, galvanized, and stainless steel light sheet-metal fabrication skills.
  • MIG weld sheet metal consisting of galvanized, aluminum, and stainless steel.

In this role, you will be responsible for grinding, drilling, deburring, and fastening using hand tools. You will also coordinate production task operations as per the Work Instruction, perform production line assembly and welding, prepare material for welding, cutting, or fabrication, maintain records of work orders and materials used, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

To succeed in this position, you will need relevant trade qualifications, at least 2 years of relevant working experience, ability to read and understand job sheets and drawings, and knowledge of Work Health Safety (WHS).
