We are seeking a talented audio storyteller to join our team.

Job Description

As a multicultural audio storyteller, you will be responsible for producing high-quality audio content that showcases the unique perspectives and experiences of Indigenous Australians. This will involve researching and writing engaging stories, translating content into multiple languages, and presenting audio segments that resonate with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce audio content for radio and online platforms, including news, current affairs, and community stories in Indigenous languages.
  • Research and write compelling stories that highlight the contributions and challenges faced by Indigenous Australians.
  • Work closely with language teams to develop content that promotes cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
  • Prioritize cultural sensitivity and accuracy in all aspects of content creation, ensuring that the voices and stories of Indigenous Australians are represented authentically.
Requirements
  • Degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced broadcasting environment.
  • Proficiency in speaking and typing in Indigenous languages, as well as English.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
