We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vendor Portfolio Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and managing our portfolio of strategic trade partners.
- Develop strategies for the portfolio to ensure alignment with upcoming projects.
- Lead master contract negotiations covering core terms and conditions.
- Oversee performance management across projects, focusing on safety, quality, financials, capability, and capacity.
- Act as the escalation point for trade partner issues, driving resolution and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Contribute to the evolution of our trade partner engagement framework, including policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in vendor management, procurement, or commercial roles, preferably with major contractors or in large-scale construction environments.
- Proven ability to develop and execute portfolio strategies, negotiate complex contracts, and manage supplier performance.
- Strong supply chain knowledge and established industry networks.
- Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain, construction, or related fields.
