We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Helpline Advisor. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people living with dementia and their families.

Job Description:

The Helpline Advisor will provide brief consultations to individuals affected by dementia through phone calls, live chat, and email. You will be responsible for facilitating service referrals to relevant internal and external services, maintaining accurate documentation of client activity, and participating in regular team meetings and supervision sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide solution-focused support and information to individuals affected by dementia
  • Facilitate service referrals to relevant internal and external services

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field such as Counselling, Nursing, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Experience providing individual solution-focused support and information in a health or allied health field
  • Previous experience in providing telephone-based support services
