About the Role

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for motivating and inspiring a team to deliver a genuine and 'local' guest experience.

  • Motivate and inspire the team to deliver a genuine and 'local' guest experience
  • Champion team coaching and mentoring, Guest and Team initiatives and day-to-day pub operations
  • Proactively activate local events and support the Venue Manager to develop & drive marketing initiatives

The successful candidate will have great hospitality leadership and operational experience, with a contagious passion for the guest experience and inspiring, coaching, and developing their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience: Motivate and inspire the team to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued.

Team Development: Champion team coaching and mentoring, creating an environment where team members feel empowered to grow and succeed.

Operations: Oversee day-to-day pub operations, proactively addressing any issues that may impact the guest experience.

Marketing: Support the Venue Manager in developing and driving marketing initiatives that attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

A degree in Hospitality or a related field, along with current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications as per state requirements.
