Education Officer: Literacy Intervention

This role is responsible for developing and implementing literacy programs across primary schools.

  • Developing targeted interventions in reading, comprehension and writing
  • Providing professional learning and support to enhance literacy outcomes and best practices
  • Analyzing data associated with literacy intervention
  • Preparing reports on program progress and outcomes
  • Collaborating with the Diverse Learning team

This position requires a strong understanding of teaching literacy, experience in using data analysis to inform educational decisions, and excellent written, oral and presentation skills.

Requirements:
  • University degree in education and current NESA accreditation
  • Minimum five years of teaching experience with demonstrated success teaching K-3 classes
  • Knowledge of issues and trends in teaching literacy
  • Experience improving student outcomes and implementing school-wide initiatives
