We have been a pillar of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing across the Ipswich and West Moreton region since 1973. Established in response to the urgent need for equitable, accessible, and culturally safe healthcare services. Over the decades, we have evolved into a trusted provider of health and community services while remaining deeply connected to the cultural values, traditions, and aspirations of the community we serve. Today, we employ over 100 dedicated staff, offering a comprehensive range of integrated services, including primary, allied and specialist health services, early childhood education and family support programs, across multiple clinics and community centres.

About the Role$85,000 per annum, plus 12% superannuation and leave loading
This is an initial 12-month, fixed-term position.
Full-time, 38 hours
Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
You will play a key role in shaping and sharing our organisation's voice, both internally and externally. This dynamic role involves developing and rolling out communication strategies, creating engaging content across multiple channels, and building strong relationships with media and the community.
About the Successful Applicant- You will be able to write, edit, and distribute a range of content, including blog posts, social media updates, press releases, newsletters, and speeches.
- You will manage website content, social media platforms, and digital media archives to ensure accuracy and engagement.
- You will ensure all communications align with our brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent tone, voice, and visual identity.
- You will create and distribute internal communications to keep staff informed, connected, and engaged.
- You will coordinate internal and external events that reflect our values, purpose, and mission.
- You will have a demonstrated ability to write and edit clear, compelling content across a variety of formats and channels.
- You will have a strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement effective communication plans.
- You will have strong analytical skills to evaluate communications activities and provide insights and recommendations.
- You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with media, stakeholders, and team members.
- You will have well-developed time management and organisational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- You will have creative thinking to design engaging and innovative communication campaigns.
- A current Working with Children Check – Blue Card
