Job Overview:
This senior role involves delivering comprehensive environmental impact assessments, environmental planning, and environmental management projects in Victoria and occasionally interstate. You will play a pivotal part in advancing projects across multiple sectors, with a primary focus on renewable energy and infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Scope, plan, manage, and execute environmental assessment, environmental planning, and environmental management projects to achieve integrated outcomes and high-quality delivery.
- Team Management: Manage project teams to achieve exceptional project results that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain a focus on delivering high-quality project outcomes and enhancing client satisfaction.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships by developing high-quality proposals to secure new business.
About the Ideal Candidate:
- A qualification in environmental science, planning, or a related degree discipline is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental impact assessment or environmental planning, preferably in Victorian environments.
- Experience managing aspects of Environment Effects Statements and/or Ministerial planning permit applications or planning scheme amendments in Victoria is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of environmental and planning legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices is required.
- Ability to adapt to undertake a range of technical work based on project requirements.
- Interest and aptitude in working across multiple disciplines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive team and client relationships.
