About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Environmental Planning Expert to join our team in Victoria. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to landmark projects and work with the brightest minds in your field.

Your primary responsibility will be to balance work-winning initiatives, staff recruitment and development, and technical delivery of Environmental Effects Statements (EES) and land-use planning projects. You'll also be responsible for developing new and supporting existing relationships with clients.

You'll collaborate with various stakeholders, including Commonwealth, State, and Local Governments, as well as the private sector, to create innovative solutions. Our recent projects have included early strategic environmental assessment of renewable energy projects and planning approvals for iconic transport projects.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in planning and environmental approvals
  • Strong work-winning skills and attributes, including experience leading pursuits and bidding large environmental projects
  • A thorough understanding of VIC's environmental assessment framework
  • Extensive experience in authoring and reviewing Statement of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements, and Review of Environmental Factors
  • Project management skills in coordinating multidisciplinary projects and fostering client relationships
