Environmental Planning and Assessment Specialist

We are a leading environmental consultancy with over three decades of experience across various sectors, including renewables, infrastructure, defence, regulation, resources, and urban development.
As part of our Victorian team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile and complex projects, delivering environmental impact assessments and planning work. You will collaborate with experienced professionals who can mentor you and help you develop your skills.
About the Role:This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Environmental Planner or Scientist to join our dynamic and respected team. In this role, you will contribute to delivering environmental impact assessments and planning work across various sectors, including renewables and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and conduct environmental impact assessments, gathering and analysing data from various sources.
- Ensure that projects comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standards.
- Plan and coordinate environmental projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather input and address concerns.
- Prepare detailed reports for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement environmental management plans to mitigate adverse environmental impacts.
- You should hold a degree qualification in environmental science, planning, or a related discipline.
- Have 1-5 years' experience as an Environmental Scientist or Planner in a consulting environment.
- Show strong technical aptitude and project management skills.
- Be adaptable and able to undertake a range of technical work based on project requirements.
- Have a strong interest and aptitude in working across multiple disciplines.
- Develop and maintain positive team and client relationships.
- A competitive salary between $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
