About the Role

Position: Day Shift Transport Allocator

Location: North Fremantle, WA

Status: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the day shift transport function to ensure timely delivery and receipt of cargo.
  • Allocate jobs to drivers to achieve operational requirements and ensure equality among drivers.
  • Provide drivers with necessary delivery paperwork and communicate effectively with customers and drivers.
  • Utilise the Maximas System to track and record trailer dropouts and reduce equipment loss.
  • Set up requirements for shift bulk runs and transshipments as needed.
  • Track and record all trailer dropouts to reduce risk of equipment loss.
  • Create and provide accurate client booking and release details as requested.
  • Respond to issues raised by major clients in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Work within Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations in all areas of the role.
  • Demonstrate inclusive behaviour and respect for diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

  • Strong data entry and accuracy skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, time management, and organisation skills.
  • Focused and compliant with all safe work practices.
  • Industry-based qualification preferred.
  • Experience in supply chain operations or genuine interest in the field.
  • Understanding of Port Operations and/or wharf cartage preferred but not essential.
