About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Scientist to join our Biochemistry team at Employment Office Australia. As a Laboratory Scientist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain automated biochemistry instruments to ensure accurate and efficient testing.
  • Perform high-volume automated biochemistry testing, including immunoassay and infectious serology.
  • Load and monitor GLP automated track systems and samples for distribution.
  • Review and release clinical reports to ensure accuracy and quality.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or higher qualification in Science, Applied Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in pathology, particularly in biochemistry, is highly regarded.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong team focus.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and work accurately and efficiently while unsupervised.
