We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in a regional Victorian hospital.

About the Role:

  • This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Social Worker to work as a sole practitioner, providing quality social work services to patients/clients across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a case manager, clinician, and therapist with individuals, couples, families, and groups dealing with life issues.
  • Provide information on resources and services to assist clients with social difficulties.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate a broad clinical caseload ensuring high professional standards.
  • Complete statistics for administration staff and participate in community education, health promotion activities, and community wellbeing.
  • Ensure understanding and respect for different cultural backgrounds, beliefs, religions, and attributes.

Requirements:

  • Completed Bachelor or Masters of Social Work.
  • Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Demonstrated effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work/caseload across a regional area.
  • Commitment to quality improvement.
  • Ability to provide evidence-based practice relevant to clinical discipline.
  • Current unrestricted drivers' licence and ability to maintain.

  • You will be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
