**Social Work Clinician Grade 2 - Department of Nephrology**

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria's largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
- We are looking for passionate and dedicated individual to join our Nephrology team. This is a Part Time, fixed term position, working 64 hours per fortnight, based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital City Campus

**Your new role**:

- Utilise specialised social work skills and knowledge to ensure excellence in Nephrology patient management
- Provide quality care to Nephrology patients at various stages of their health care continuum including dialysis, renal supportive care and transplantation
- Work with a dynamic and experienced renal social work team

**About You**:

- Qualifications which are acceptable for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Skills in comprehensive assessment, discharge and counselling
- Possess an understanding of relevant legislation and practice framework relating to family violence
