Our Project

The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Site Engineers to join our project team. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring the project plan and recording progress against the program
  • Resolving engineering issues and managing the administration of subcontractors
  • Ensuring technical matters with the project are compliant and driving a zero-harm safety culture on site
  • Contributing to a safe work culture and ensuring works are delivered to legislative and project standards
  • Reviewing and understanding construction drawings, specifications, and method statements
  • Liaising and communicating with foremen and subcontractors to achieve target outcomes
  • Ensuring project delivery is compliant with project standards and on-site works are delivered to quality standards
  • Preparing documentation for procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
  • Managing allocated work packages and resources to ensure costs are within or below budget

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent subcontractor management skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships internally and externally
