About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team at Downer, with a strong background in Building and Building Services.

This is a site-based role for the Albury Wodonga area, with relocation packages being offered.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Setup and Delivery

Establish and manage the effective set-up, delivery, and completion of the project, including the implementation of relevant systems.

Project Monitoring and Control

Monitor and control the completion of the project to ensure that programme, budget, quality, environmental, and contractual obligations are achieved, and take prompt corrective action where required.

Handover Process

Effectively manage the handover process to the client, ensuring a smooth transition and meeting all necessary requirements.

Design and Construction Review

Review and approve design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements, and job safety analysis and quality, ensuring compliance with scope of works and technical criteria.

Requirements
  1. Government Security Clearance

Hold or be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance.

Engineering Degree and Experience

Hold a relevant Engineering Degree and have relevant industry experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex Building and Building Services projects.

Commercial Experience

Demonstrate commercial experience, including planning, reporting, and risk management, with the ability to develop and implement risk treatment plans.

SHEQ Experience

Have experience in developing and managing SHEQ processes and procedures, with the ability to lead and manage others in conducting these processes.

Travel Requirements

Be able to travel between sites from time to time, as required.
