As a Disability Claim Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and processing claims for individuals with disabilities. Your primary focus will be on the end-to-end process of disability claims, providing helpful service to claimants and assisting them with their queries.

About this Role

In this senior level position, you will oversee and administer a portfolio of total permanent disability (TPD) and income protection (IP) insurance claims, death and terminal illness claims with or without insurance cover, family law claims, and early release payments (financial hardship, compassionate grounds). You will work closely with clients, beneficiaries, and solicitors to provide proactive, solution-focused communication.

You will have experience as a Claims Manager, managing the end-to-end process of various types of claims, especially disability claims. You will also have experience performing claims staking, reviewing and challenging insurer decisions, and preparing trustee recommendations for approval. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
