The Australian Community Correctional Service (ACIC) is a government agency responsible for providing correctional services to the community. As an HR Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our employees receive fair compensation and benefits.



Job Description

This is an ongoing full-time opportunity based in Canberra with a salary of $82,403 - $87,572. The successful applicant will be responsible for a range of activities related to employee pay, superannuation, and terms and conditions of employment.



Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance to staff on pay-related matters;
  • Resolving complex pay-related enquiries;
  • Taking a lead role in prioritizing the work of the team;
  • Undertaking quality assurance activities;
  • Producing regular employee-related reporting;
  • Managing all pay run processes using SAP or similar systems.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of payroll processing;
  • Able to accurately interpret and apply employment legislation, policy, and guidelines;
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills;
  • Strong team skills with the ability to prioritize work;
  • SAP HR system experience is desirable.
