About the Role

We are seeking an experienced nursing professional to join our Cath Lab team at Calvary Launceston. As a Cardiac Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate patient care to patients undergoing cardiac and interventional cardiology procedures.

This role involves admitting patients to the unit and providing high-standard post-procedural/post-anaesthetic care to our patients. You will work in a vibrant team with a passion for delivering great care and a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scrub/scout role, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Patient advocate, providing support and guidance to patients and their families.
  • Deliver high levels of patient service, consistently exceeding patient expectations.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to quality processes and evidence-based practices, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to these improvements.
  • Practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant Government Health policies and procedures, the position description, Code of Conduct, industrial agreements, and ANMC competencies.
