About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Charles Clinic Heart Care. As a key member of our patient-focused team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently perform echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms, utilizing advanced techniques such as GLS, CRT, 3-D, and adult congenital echo.
  • Complete comprehensive echocardiographic reports, considering all clinical measurements and current ASE guidelines.
  • Assist with transoesophageal echo, ECGs, and holter monitors.
  • Participate in regular regional clinics in Northern Tasmania.
About You:
  • Considerable clinical experience in echocardiography and cardiac testing.
  • Outstanding diagnostic and analytical skills.
  • Clear patient-focused care, providing patient comfort, confidentiality, and empathetic care during all procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaborative teamwork skills and work ethic.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • ASAR Accreditation in Cardiac Ultrasound.
  • Criminal record check prior to commencement of employment.
  • Registered under Working with Vulnerable People Act.
  • Up-to-date Immunisation status (COVID, Hep B, influenza, etc.).
  • Current driver's licence.
Remuneration:

$103,000 - $114,000 plus Super (depending on skills and experience).
