ICT Business Analyst Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as a key member of our Corporate Services division. As a critical thinker with a can-do attitude, you will be responsible for reviewing and analysing ICT strategies, investment and information that enable and support the achievement of strategic direction, priorities, activities and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake analysis activity required in the development of ICT Strategies including enterprise architecture principles and updates architecture repositories accordingly
  • Administer the support of enterprise architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with standards
  • Provide analysis support in the departments enterprise and line of business investment planning and reporting process to ensure forward year projection forecasting of ICT spend required is identified and submitted
  • Support the process to ensure investment submission coordination in line with central agency approved processes and timeframes
  • Provide administration support for service catalogue, service costing methodology, service partnership agreements and service metrics reporting requirements
  • Support cluster and executive agencies engagement, relationship and stakeholder management processes

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with engaging client base incorporating diverse stakeholder groups
  • A positive, critical thinker with a can-do attitude coupled with ability to deliver high-quality outputs
  • Relevant experience with leading complex engagements and business analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality deliverables
  • Strong numeracy knowledge and skills including financial forecasting
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Orbus infinity iServer architecture repository proficiency desirable
