We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic ICT Procurement Specialist to lead our procurement initiatives and manage supplier relationships across a wide range of ICT categories.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional to drive strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives, leveraging their expertise in ICT procurement, vendor management, and category management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies: Design and execute effective sourcing strategies across ICT products and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead End-to-End Procurement Activities: Oversee all aspects of procurement, including tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and policies.
  • Manage Supplier Relationships: Foster strong relationships with suppliers, driving performance improvement and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including variations, renewals, and issue resolution, minimizing risk and maximizing value.
  • Provide Specialist Advice: Offer expert guidance to stakeholders on procurement policy, compliance, and best practice, ensuring informed decision-making.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven Expertise: Possess extensive experience in ICT procurement, vendor management, and category management, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Demonstrate strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to secure optimal outcomes across IT services, licensing, and cloud solutions.
  • Influencing Senior Stakeholders: Show demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, building strong internal and external relationships.
  • Procurement Knowledge: Possess comprehensive knowledge of procurement frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
