About the Role

The Preventative Mental Health Lead is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote mental health and wellbeing through evidence-based programs. This role aims to ensure that Smiling Mind's programs have a high degree of impact, harnessing technology to reach people at scale and achieve high levels of engagement and participation in self-directed mental health and wellbeing activities.

This leader will take a strategic approach to translating evidence into practice, staying up-to-date with sector advancements and opportunities, and leading the development of products and programs with high impact and engagement across audiences. They will be accountable for creating and quality-assuring all evidence-based program content across Smiling Mind's product ecosystem.

This includes digital content (app, online workshops), workshops, and training. The ideal candidate will have a clinical, research, or public health background, experience in program development and planning, and strong digital skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote mental health and wellbeing
  • Leading the development of evidence-based programs
  • Staying up-to-date with sector advancements and opportunities
  • Ensuring program quality and effectiveness

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and project management skills
