Transformative Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader/Teacher

Location: Melbourne | Western Metropolitan

They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including staff, students, parents, and community members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement mental health and wellbeing programmes that promote positive outcomes for individuals and communities;
  • Provide leadership and support to staff and students to foster a culture of wellbeing and resilience;
  • Collaborate with external agencies and partners to leverage resources and expertise;
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote mental health and wellbeing;
  • Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field such as education, psychology, or social work;
  • Proven experience in mental health and wellbeing leadership, including programme development and team management;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to mental health and wellbeing.
