Lead Cafe Professional

We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to take on a pivotal role in our busy cafe.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring that every customer has an exceptional experience.

About the Role

  • Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Oversee day-to-day cafe operations, including opening and closing shifts.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor expenses.
  • Train, mentor, and develop staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Schedule and coordinate shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • Drive sales through creative marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with management to achieve financial and operational goals.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant management role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for coffee and understanding of coffee preparation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
  • Availability for morning, night, and weekend shifts.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales and customer service goals.
  • Food safety and hygiene certification (preferred).
