Lead Cafe Team Member

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Oversee day-to-day cafe operations, including opening and closing shifts.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of an exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor expenses to maintain profitability.
  • Train, mentor, and develop cafe staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Schedule and coordinate shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • Drive sales through creative marketing and up-selling strategies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant management role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for coffee and a good understanding of coffee preparation.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully.
  • Availability for morning, night, and weekend shifts.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales and customer service goals.
