Cafe Operations Manager

Our busy golf course cafe is seeking a skilled Chef and Cafe Manager to lead a high-performing team in delivering exceptional Food and Beverage services.

This exciting opportunity involves guiding the team to create fresh and relevant menus, implementing grab & go options, and ensuring excellent customer service.

In addition to managing current cafe operations, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our future restaurant operations, including creating systems of work, layouts, and F&B offerings.

We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the Hospitality, Entertainment, or Recreation industries.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a high-performing team to deliver exceptional Food and Beverage services
  • Develop and implement fresh and relevant menus
  • Implement grab & go options to increase customer convenience
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards
  • Contribute to the development of future restaurant operations, including systems of work, layouts, and F&B offerings

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the Hospitality, Entertainment, or Recreation industries
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Experience developing staff rosters
  • Current RSA certificate (desirable)
  • Approved Manager license (desirable)
  • Safe Food handling certification
  • Cert 3/4 Commercial Cookery
  • Excellent communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work weekdays and weekends
  • Exceptional leadership skills
