Job Title: Maintenance Scheduling Specialist

About the Role:

The role of Maintenance Scheduling Specialist involves planning and coordinating routine and corrective maintenance works, monitoring defects and repairs on solar farm, collector station, and terminal station assets.

This position plays a key part in the group through timely awareness of maintenance plans across multiple sites, being able to foresee synergies and being able to react to opportunistic events to reduce the cost of that maintenance.

The role is also responsible for closing out works with the required supporting evidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop maintenance schedules in line with operations and maintenance manuals, manufacturers recommendations, warranty, and contractual obligations.
  • Work alongside Site Managers to effectively schedule and prioritize routine, defect, and fault activities.
  • Manage and coordinate the timely input of maintenance data, including faults and defects information.
  • Ensure maintenance program outgoings issued to the field conform with asset owner's policy and procedures.
  • Act as the key point of contact for the Maintenance Works Delivery team for the coordination of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, defect rectification, and fault response.
  • Provide support to, and liaise with, key stakeholders to modify, update or risk assess delivery outcomes.
  • Actively contribute suggestions and take actions to further improve team and personal delivery and impact, adding positively to company culture and developments over time.
  • Contribute to new, innovative, and relevant practical ways to meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in planning, preparing, and/or coordinating work program packages for field execution.
  • Advanced SAP and MS Excel knowledge and ability to rapidly get up to speed with relevant systems.
  • Proven relationship and stakeholder management experience - managing demand and delivery expectations effectively, with a range of multidisciplinary stakeholders and colleagues, for agreed delivery and impact.
  • Working knowledge of the primary plant and the electricity generation, transmission, and distribution networks.
  • Degree qualified in Engineering or similar (advantageous).
