**Operations Leadership Opportunity**

We are seeking a strategic leader to drive operational functions and achieve business goals.

The Operations Manager will contribute to the planning, development and growth of business strategies, provide leadership, direction & support across the organisation to achieve business objectives, manage the success of all projects as they travel through business from RFQ to Delivery, lead the Estimating, Project Management, Quality, HSE and Workshop teams to deliver desired outcomes, develop & maximise business opportunities through the effective management of key stakeholder relationships, manage production budgets to ensure profitability and competitive advantage, and workforce management across the workshop.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the planning, development and growth of business strategies
  • Provide leadership, direction & support across the organisation to achieve business objectives
  • Manage the success of all projects as they travel through business from RFQ to Delivery
  • Lead the Estimating, Project Management, Quality, HSE and Workshop teams to deliver desired outcomes
  • Develop & maximise business opportunities through the effective management of key stakeholder relationships
  • Manage production budgets to ensure profitability and competitive advantage
  • Workforce management across the workshop

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Ambition to achieve results and drive productivity
  • Positive attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Procurement experience within the local market
  • Solutions focused, able to work through a problem to get results
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • A Boilermaker trade qualification
  • AS1796 or AS2214 would be highly advantageous
