Operations Strategic Manager

About a leading global titanium minerals producer and pigment manufacturer

Our operations produce a range of valuable products such as ilmenite, zircon, rutile, and titanium dioxide pigment that are exported to international markets.

As part of the global operations of a multinational company, we seek an experienced strategic operations professional to lead our site production planning and align improvement activities with the production plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic site production planning and improve performance by aligning activities with the production plan.
  • Develop integrated production and maintenance plans including performance metrics, strategic sales planning, and team input.
  • Manage key data and information into the annual business plan for the site.
  • Optimize the site major events calendar including shutdowns, audits, workshops, training, etc.
About You
  • Hold a degree in Metallurgy, Engineering, Project Management, or a similar relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic operational roles, business administration, management consulting, or strategic planning.
  • Proficiency in various communication styles, particularly communicating technical concepts and providing business context.
  • Understanding of business operations and procedures.
  • Project management skills.
