Job Description:

The Senior Manager, Global Risk Communications plays a pivotal role in leading and implementing a global communications strategy to deliver better member outcomes through risk excellence.

  • Developing and implementing a dynamic, creative, and innovative global internal communications strategy that supports the successful execution and embedding of the Fund's refreshed risk framework;
  • Contribute to building a global risk performance culture aligned with the Fund's 2035 Strategy, driving sustainable change and building organisational resilience;
  • Providing active guidance and support to colleagues, the Board, and Executive team on communications to promote and embed a mature risk management culture;
  • Partnering with senior management, business units, and other stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities for continuous improvement to uplift organisational resilience and risk culture through communications;
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Deep experience working in a similar in-house position or consultancy role is required. Demonstrated internal communications experience within financial services and knowledge of the regulators of the sector are also essential. In addition, the following skills are necessary:

  • Demonstrated internal risk communications experience;
  • Demonstrated experience in transformation and change communications;
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and management skills;
  • Demonstrated experience working to tight deadlines and managing competing priorities with a razor-sharp focus on delivering outcomes aligned to strategy;
  • Experience acting as a senior leader in large, complex organisations;
  • Proven ability to identify and manage emerging issues and trends;
  • Demonstrated experience in developing compelling content for all channels;
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams;
  • Experience and knowledge of the Australian superannuation system is desirable.
