Job Title

Lead the Operations of a Dynamic Organisation.

Eyes of Hope is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all areas of our organisation. This includes clinic operations, volunteers, marketing, fundraising, and compliance. You will act as the final escalation point for operational issues, support our leads, and help ensure we are sustainable, compliant, and making maximum impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee mobile clinic operations and assist in recruitment and training of key volunteers.
  • Check in with our Marketing & Fundraising Leads, monitor KPIs, and guide campaigns, partnerships, and grant applications.
  • Provide oversight of admin and compliance, lead monthly all-team meetings, identify risks, strengthen systems, and ensure smooth operation across people, clinics, and processes.
  • Oversight of digital tools and data privacy compliance.

Requirements:

A qualified Optometrist or Optical Dispenser with technical experience in clinical operations, equipment, or dispensing is required. Proven leadership experience in a not-for-profit, healthcare, or volunteer-based organisation is also necessary.

Strong organisational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are essential. Excellent communication skills are required to build trust and bring out the best in volunteers and partners. Nice to have skills include familiarity with HR/volunteer management and financial oversight, working knowledge of charity compliance, knowledge of Medicare and Vision Australia billing programs.
