Project Coordination Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide administrative support to the Project Management Team in a unique and rewarding career opportunity.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with tendering, purchasing, contract management, and processing payments. They will administer contracts with contractors and suppliers, obtain competitive quotes, and release purchase orders. Additionally, they will document control for all drawings, registers, and authority inspections and approvals. The role also involves coordinating project meetings, MS Teams meetings, and consultant meetings, and distributing accurate minutes to attendees.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the Project Management Team with tendering, purchasing, contract management, and payment processing.
  • Administer contracts with contractors and suppliers, including preparation, approval, and issuing of progress payment certificates.
  • Obtain quotes from suppliers and release purchase orders to ensure timely delivery in line with the project programme.
  • Document control for drawings, registers, and authority inspections and approvals.
  • Coordinate project meetings, MS Teams meetings, and consultant meetings, and distribute accurate minutes to attendees.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Administrator in a Building or Consultancy group.
  • Excellent administrative and computer skills, including the use of IT systems to achieve effective business outcomes.
  • Experience in complex buildings and/or commercial, industrial construction is desirable.
  • A collaborative approach and highly professional attitude.
  • Strong planning skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
