Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills? We are seeking a Clinical Documentation Improvement Analyst to join our team
About the Role:This is a full-time position that requires working Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. As a Clinical Documentation Improvement Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and improving patient records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Key Responsibilities:- Welcome patients and visitors, answer switchboard calls, and route them appropriately
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, assist with health information requests, and enter PAS assessments in patient records
- Submit OASAS reports, enter data for surveys, post-discharge outcome studies, and mailing lists
- Compile monthly quality improvement reports, audit patient records, and perform clerical duties such as data entry, faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing documentation
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Intermediate skill and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Competency in an electronic medical record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
