Job Title: Data Governance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, implement and manage a comprehensive data governance framework that aligns with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for data management, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks associated with data handling and processing.
  • Provide expert advice on data privacy and security best practices to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Lead the development of strategic plans to improve data quality, reduce data breaches, and enhance overall data management capabilities.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in data governance, compliance, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations, including GDPR and Privacy Laws of the United States.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret legal and contractual requirements.
