Job Title:
Data Governance SpecialistA key role in managing and coordinating data governance and stewardship activities, ensuring compliance with defined data management standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring, storing, sharing, and disposing of data securely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the acquisition and curation of strategic and sensitive data assets to support analytics projects and operational goals.
- Maintain data access, privacy, and record management controls for the organization's data holdings.
- Implement and operate data governance tools to ensure effective stewardship of data assets.
- Mentor staff on data governance and quality requirements.
- Review and implement data stewardship and governance policies and processes.
- Contribute to risk management and reporting functions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of data governance and quality principles, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
