Expert in Strategic Donor Engagement

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Philanthropy Specialist to join our Fundraising team on a full-time permanent basis.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving income generation through the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift, mid-level, and bequest donors.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and execute strategic fundraising programs in collaboration with senior leadership. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional donor experience at all times, ensuring the voice of the supporter is considered in all communication touch points.
You will also collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team on revenue opportunities identified for Major Gift and Capital Campaign programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic fundraising programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and cultivate key relationships with major gift, mid-level giving, and bequest donors and prospects.
- Deliver an exceptional donor experience through tailored communication and stewardship strategies.
- Contribute to the development of annual fundraising plans and reports.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in fundraising, philanthropy, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in fundraising, preferably within Gifts in Wills or Major Gift programs.
- Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing strategic fundraising programs, with a track record of success.
