Service Desk Support Specialist

Brennan is seeking a skilled Service Desk Analyst to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver first-level customer support through phone, email, and live chat
- Log customer contacts as tickets into the IT Service Management tool (ServiceNow)
- Maintain ownership of tickets and follow Brennan procedures for ticket handling
- Attempt to resolve issues at the first point of contact and escalate when necessary
- Perform remote troubleshooting and gather information to determine the best solution
- Use knowledge articles in Brennan's Knowledge Management System (BIKI) to progress issues and create new knowledge articles when needed
Requirements:
- 12-18 months' experience in a Service Desk role or three years' in a customer support-focused position
- Degree-educated, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science, or a Certificate IV qualification
- Demonstrable industry-based technical aptitude, including knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suites

- Windows 10/11 User Interface
- Office365 Administration and 'How Do I?' queries
- Email / Exchange Configuration & Troubleshooting
- Azure Administration
- Hardware Support - CPUs, RAM, and Motherboards
- Monitors & Peripherals - Installation, Connectivity & Configuration
- Computer Peripherals - Interfaces, Cables & Connectors
- Printer Installation, Configuration & Troubleshooting
- Networking & Connectivity
- Network Protocols & Devices
- Mobile Devices
- Storage Devices & Media
