Job Overview

The Commercial Manager plays a pivotal role in the overall success of our projects, responsible for the commercial function from tender to completion.

Key areas of focus include reviewing and negotiating head contracts, assessing pre-award contracts for compliance, creating back-to-back contract terms, and providing rights and obligations summaries to project teams.

  • Contract Review and Negotiation: Responsible for reviewing and negotiating head contracts to ensure alignment with company risk positions and contractual entitlements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Assesses pre-award contracts for compliance, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Contract Administration: Creates back-to-back contract terms to pass through head contract obligations to subcontractors, and sets up processes for site teams' strict compliance with contract notices.
  • Project Support: Provides assistance to project teams for management of disputes, including recognition of heads of claim, claims assessment, and strength of position in line with contractual entitlements.
