Quantum Science Expert

This role offers a unique opportunity for an early-career researcher to develop expertise in quantum science.
You will design, build, and characterise novel quantum systems, conduct precision measurements, and advance automation and reproducibility in deterministic spin-photon interfaces and electric field sensing.
- A PhD in physics, engineering or a related discipline is required.
- A strong publication record is preferred.
You possess exceptional research skills with a solid background in experimental quantum science. Your expertise spans confocal microscopy and cryogenic spectroscopy, supported by experience in characterising quantum emitters and working with optical and magneto-optical cryostats.
What We OfferA competitive base salary range of $94,152 - $114,672 per annum plus 17% superannuation. Full-time employment on a 24-month fixed term basis.
