Quantum Navigation Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Navigation Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge navigation solutions for various industry sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantum sensing, navigation theory, and numerical modeling.

Job Description:

The Quantum Navigation Scientist will be responsible for developing new navigation algorithms, sensor fusion strategies, and modeling capabilities for different navigation scenarios. They will work closely with experts in quantum sensing to deliver novel navigation capabilities that solve pressing challenges in maritime and aeronautical positioning and navigation.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of quantum mechanics, navigation systems, and signal processing techniques. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • B.Sc.(Hon) or M.Sc. in Physics, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Experience in navigation theory, numerical navigation modeling, and/or real-time state tracking and estimation
  • Familiarity with Python programming language for scientific computing
  • Knowledge of quantum sensing principles and applications
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
