Human Resources Generalist Job Opportunity

This part-time role offers flexibility to work 2-3 days a week or 20 hours per week. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will have the opportunity to shape HR processes and culture in a growing international business.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage employment contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with local legislation
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to create a seamless employee experience
  • Handle leave requests and act as the first point of contact for HR and payroll queries
  • Support recruitment activities, including job postings, application screening, and interview coordination
  • Coordinate workplace health & safety initiatives and communications
  • Support culture and engagement initiatives that foster connection and well-being
  • Requirements:
  • A strong knowledge of local employment law and workplace relations in Australia
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a generalist or specialist HR role
  • Proven track record across the employee lifecycle, including contracts, compliance, and policies
  • Experience supporting small, growing teams or startups (preferred)
  • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (a plus)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely across different time zones
